There is also a perverse theory that the sunk cost of buying a watch from Apple is even more motivation for aspiring gym rats: You spent a couple hundred dollars to buy it, so it will be more likely to use it.
2. If you are seeking a new way of organizing
Farhad Manjoo writer made an interesting point in the New York Times: Watch Apple intends to “liberate” us from our smartphones.
This is partly due to its nominal convenience; a few clicks on the clock Apple could eliminate some emailing, texting and browsing the music that users normally do on their iPhones. However, the device could also allow us to be a little less socially awkward when we look into our phones, and better integrate technology today.
“I’m definitely thinking of buying a watch from Apple,” said Adam Powell, chairman of the Payer + Provider Syndicate. “I’m attracted to their reporting functions and have the desire to experience their use cases firsthand.”
3. If you are in the industry
As a first line of new products from Apple in five years, with sales expected to top 10 million units in 2015, Apple Watch will be a very important platform for all developers – and especially companies in the sectors of health care and technology.
“As a member of the Internet of Things (IoT) community will buy the watch from Apple because I want to test its features and experience it for myself,” says Masanari Arai, CEO of Kii, a provider of backend end-to end mobile applications and IO devices.
“I will also provide a unique insight into the Guard Apple, so it can provide guidance for the chip and device manufactures and allow them to work with Apple Rights Watch.”
4. If you have disposable income, and needs to be the newest Apple fanboy in block
While sales may become mediocre, by Forbes Parmy Olson, the device is certainly the essential gadget of the year for Apple loyalists.
“I’m going to buy one fully, but not for health reasons at all,” says Dr. Aaron Carroll, health services researcher at Indiana University and co-editor in chief of incidental Economist blog.
“I need a watch and I like the interesting things that comes with it!”
5. If you are one of the first
This is almost obvious.
“Watch Apple is at the forefront,” said Derek Newell, CEO of Jiff, who works with companies to improve the design of benefits.
“Of course, I’ll buy one.”
Why you should not buy the watch from Apple
1. If you are not interested in being one of the first
Experts universally understood that Apple Watch v 1.0 would be imperfect, the limited battery life to a slightly imperfect design blocks which must be reviewed in future generations.
But considering the price point, tolerate these faults is probably not for everyone.
“Great revelation did not change my opinion on the clock Apple, and I do not find in line to buy one at this stage in the game today,” said Andrew Flanagan, CEO of Telcare, specializing in mobile applications for treatment chronic disease.
2. If you are expecting innovative health care improvements

3. If you are already pretty fit … and you’re reasonable price-conscious
Most experts believe that you could get most of the same functionality as Apple fitness Track with a cheaper laptop or smart watch band, as a Fitbit. (And many warriors training may not need a watch from Apple if you already have one of these devices.)
4. If you do not have the money to spend
I was struck by the comment of Sean Hollister Follow Gizmodo Apple, which presented the challenge of buying a multi-device one hundred US dollars based on a case of limited use.
“If I can do things faster and easier doll things, if I can save time, I would definitely consider shelling out” Hollister wrote. “[But] Personally, I’m not paying money to see my wrist so I have to check my phone.”
“Watch Apple is a costly fashion statement not see helping patients manage chronic diseases like diabetes,” says Flanagan Telcare.
“Right now is an expensive app organizer and the conclusion is that Apple has important work to do in terms of safety and FDA approval.”
